All of us at Back to Earth love what we do. Honestly.
From our creative and inspiring chefs to the hard working and talented
people who serve our food, our work is our passion, our expression,
and our activism. When you taste our food and experience our service,
you'll see it. It's obvious.
Of course the most incredible part of the Back to Earth experience is the food.
Organic, local, seasonal food tastes good. Culinary creations that have been
treated with respect from the first moment and prepared with positive intention
feel good too. In short, our food tastes better than conventional food. From
the seed to the kitchen to your plate, it is sacred food. You'll notice every
time. It's a wonderful experience.
You can taste every element of our food - the organic free-range chicken roaming
free in Marin, perfect strawberries from Full Belly Farm, the fresh spring
greens from Riverdog Farm in Guinda, Wild Salmon caught just miles from the San Francisco Bay, juicy portobellos from Solano Mushroom, artisan organic cheeses from Cowgirl
Creamery, and a rustic fresh baked organic bread from the Acme bakery, a local
Berkeley treasure.
